CHANGING PHOTO DATES....

We have just had to deal with a member who was dishonestly changing the date of a photograph after it has been accepted in order to get it used by FR24. As a result of his actions photographers with images genuinely acceptable for FR24 use have been prevented from having their images displayed.

As a result he has had quite a few images deleted from the database along with his queued images and has been banned for three months. He has also been warned that any recurrence of any cheating will result in a permanent ban.

Let us be quite clear here.

Such a shame that this happens, well done to all of you for having a zero tolerance policy. In time I am sure that the message will get through to those who do cheat.

Oh the irony. After having posted here about photo dates I myself got caught up in this. The most recent 6 photos were incorrectly labelled as 25th September rather than 24th August due to a shot taken on 25th and me forgetting to reset the date back. Five have been corrected and, rightly, the last one was rejected for incorrect date. If the screeners happen to read this..... Many many apologies.
