This mistake happens pretty frequently to spotters from Eastern Asia and Australia/NZ when spotting in the US. Also happened to me in the past. You can see the date/time in that photo is 3am, 01/20, so I don't think it was intentional. Thanks for pointing out anyway.

Of note with that photographer in question - he's a native Australian, which might explain the date setting in his camera. Highly doubt it was intentional.

Message the photographer to let him know to change the date/time setting in his camera! (Check out the EXIF)

Hi, I was wondering what I could do if I have seen someone continuously upload photos with the wrong date? Like what you said before, that the dates are wrong. I went spotting at LAX on Jan 19, 2019, and I have a few photos up on JP from that day, I know Yam Dreaming, and EVA Hello Kitty departed that day. I was wondering why my EVA got so little views and started looking at other photos and found that another photographers photo was a day ahead. Here is my photo ID 9211846 which I have the photo date as the 19th, but here is the other photo ID that is on the 20th, 9210577. I just find it weird that he got so many views but I didn't. I have found also that all of his photos are wrong. Here is a FlightAware link that shows it departed on the 19th, https://flightaware.com/live/flight/...850Z/KLAX/RCTP

    Thanks,

    Taylor

I have more than 20,000 visits for two years.

I do not think I've ever shared it on fb or instagram.
I share my jp photos on our small closed group.
The photos I upload to JP I share them directly on my FB profile without linking JP.

    Hello.

Some days ago I've found out that one of the photographers cheating the dates.
For example, photo ID 9155450 taken at Nov 29, 2018. But green trees and grass impossible in late november in Moscow. Additionally, that airframe wasn't in Moscow that day according to the FR24 data. Also that photo was found in photographer's Instagram and published in Novemeber of 2017 there.
Photo IDs 9150326, 9150312, 9149504, 9148501, 9147527 also may be with wrong dates. Light conditions and weather on that photos are similar to IDs 9145901, 9129083, 912285.
Photo ID 9156529 cannot be taken at Dec 1, 2018. It is snowy in Moscow already.
    Just for you information.

    Regards.

I have also noticed a photographer who is pretty often in TOP24 and his photos are nothing special at all...

Firstly a prop without anything special, then a 737 with just 42 views and when you open it there is like 700 views in 2 hours! Sudden boost so JP didn't have time to keep up with the view count.
Don't know why the photos uploaded are having bad quality though. The screen shots are for about 2 hours ago btw. Links to higher quality if you're curious:

The only solution is that accounts with obviously biased view will get their shots deleted + a ban, sad but if we need to do it we'll do it

I have a couple of groups on FB, like https://www.facebook.com/groups/PROP...?ref=bookmarks - You wouldn't believe the number of people who would use those groups just to post links on JP and get a few more hits. It might sound harsh but if you start to link your pics on every possible group or use other ways just to get more hits, you absolutely need to think about your priorities in life

    Sad people, very very sad

    Alex

Thanks a lot for that info. One has to wonder, what goals certain people have in their lives.
