  • IMPORTANT. RE: AMERICAN HOMEBUILT AIRCRAFT.

We get a lot of requests for the addition of a new aircraft for American homebuilts. The reason for this is because the FAA Database lists the owner/builders name in front of the type. An example today was a request for a ROYS Fly Baby 1A. ROYS is the surname of the owner/builder. The actual aircraft is a "Bowers Fly Baby 1A" which is already in the database under the generic Homebuilt Aircraft.
A simple database or google check will save all of us,including uploaders an awful lot of wasted time.

    Thank you.

We always accepted those aircraft as per builders name(The manufacturer). So those requests should be accepted.
