And it will not be shown on FR24 as your photo is from an angle that doesn't offer any view of the paint scheme of that Piper.

Your photo is a close-up so it won't be on FR24

This ATR is also close-up and that photo appears on Flightradar, not understanding why some photos do and others do not show it

And so for that style of close-up photo there are many that are shown...
            Thanks !

That's because it's the first and only pic of that reg. Better to show something than nothing....

The rules don't seem to apply to this photo

now excluded - excluding pics is done manually so out of the thousands photos there's certainly some we (or the uploader...) forgot to exclude

Just out of curiosity: when Flightradar states that they want to use "the most recent pic", what is the case if two pictures show the airplane roughly at the same time? Let's say, one pic on short final, one while touching down? Is this a case of "last submitted pic shown" or "most recent" (in which case, it should of course be the time stamp that trumps)?

I really don't care about view numbers, I upload my pics to share them with whoever wants to see them. But I can't stop being curious.

I would assume whoever is in charge of doing this would look at the Exif data of the photo.
