This photo got rejected for "bad motive." I thought it was a unique, if not artistic perspective on a great jet. I'd value some input. Thanks!

Rejected! What's a "bad motive?"

Would have been really nice if:
a) The bottom half of the plane wasn't chopped off
or
b) Had been cropped tighter to the bottom of the tail (and not chopped the tip off at the top)
As so often with bad motive's here this is neither one thing or the other. It's too far out to be a well motivated closeup, but too close in to capture the whole subject.Garry Lewis

Personally, I'd pan the camera down so that the 'SA' was at the top of the photo. As Peter pointed out, there is too much sky!
If all else fails, don't bother uploading and keep them for your personal collection. I've learned to accept that
That is a nice location you had for taking the picture.
