Does anyone happen to know what this airplane does? The nose has a large radardome and there are various antennas and fairings on the belly and top of the plane.
You know some where a long time ago I was reading about how Boeing used a McDonnell Douglas to test some avionics. I don't know. Mabye my mind is playing with me.
CheckSix
Equipment: A camera (who gives a rip about the brand?)
The registration shows it to be currently operated by the US Navy. I was able to learn that it has been based at the British Aerospace hangar at Mojave recently so I would guess it is doing an evaluation of a radar or comm system built by BAe but under consideration for purchase by the Navy.
