    An alternative use for camera gear? Happy New Year!!

    G'day Guys
    Found a pretty good use for my aviation camera gear tonight down by the Sydney Harbour bridge.
    Hope you all have good evenings no matter where you are.

            I knew, I'm considered to be a bit crazy as plane spotter and photographer. But a firework spotter??

                  For those who may intened coming downhere one year to see the firworks.
                  They have 2 displays.
                  One for kids starting at 2100 going normally for about 12-13 minutes followd by the main show at midnight going for last night 23mins.
                  Great show!
                  Having been living in SYD for 3 New Years eve's i still have never seen anything like it although the Olympic closing is still apparantly the best the locals say!
                  Anyway with a population of 4 Million some 1.4million where on the harbour to watch the show.
                  Given how bad the traffic was trying to get home i can believe it!!
                  Anyway all the best and the camera gear now gets a solid 365 days of planes before some more fireworks!!
