Looking for a new camcorder

Hey guys,

I have started doing some in flight recording and my current camera is terrible! Although I didn't buy it back in the day for videos, just stills which it does a good job at. I am looking for an HD camcorder that has good sound quality where you can hear the engine noise spool up, etc. My budget is $200 or less. I have been doing a ton of shopping around and have found several but I honestly don't know exactly what to look for. Any pointers/suggestions would be great!

not exactly a camcorder, but the GoPro Hero 2 motorsport kit could be handy, you can stick the suction mount onto the window to avoid shake and the sound is generally pretty good
