Great place for spotting at the end of runway 24R at LAX. You'll see all kinds of aircraft and various airlines since no dominant carrier. Great weather and food nearby also.
Yea got lucky, I was with some other folks on a tight schedule and only got to see three aircraft in a few minutes and caught an A380 and Dreamliner. The other was a commuter and didn't video it.
