Would appreciate some comments on this photo. Would it be rejected for contrast? Thanks, Tejas

Hello, recently, I got a rejection on one of my photos I uploaded. Here's the link,

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

Behind/under the far engine, there were a flock of birds which I tried to remove as they looked like dust spots. Is that against the guidelines? Or is the rejection for another reason.

          Thanks in advance, Tejas

Not necessarily against the guidelines, but you've done such a poor job of it that the removal is considered manipulation. You can try a re-edit, just be more careful, or if they are obviously birds, just leave them in the shot.

Ah ok, I'll re-edit it with more caution. Thank you

I edited another image which I thought would be easier. Would this be accepted? Click image for larger version Name:	A7-ANA jp.jpg Views:	0 Size:	562.6 KB ID:	1076781

                      Borderline, lacks some contrast.

I would like this photo to be pre-screened. I am a bit worried, would the telephone lines be a reason for a rejection (for obstruction)?
                        Thank you and Merry Christmas!

blurry/soft, telephone lines are indeed too distracting.

A bit high in the frame, but otherwise ok.
