Hello everyone,
I kindly ask for a prescreening of the picture below, in particular if it would have an issue with backlit (Sun pretty much directly from the front).
Thanks and best,

Could someone please give me some hint, which part(s) of the picture has issues with being soft? I was quite confident with it, otherwise I had not submitted it with 1920 px, but maybe I missed something...
Thank you very much and best,

Ah, that's actually a good hint. Was focusing too much on the aircraft but not on the sky. Will work on it.
Thank you very much, dlowwa.

one question about a rejection I received due to JPG compression artefacts: Where exactly in the picture is compression an issue?
Just wondering how to fix it, because it was a raw picture, I used my usual routine and scaled down to 1280 pretty carefully in multiple steps.
Thanks for any help and a nice weekend to everyone.

Thank you very much, dlowwa.
Very much appreciated.
Then I might give #3 a try and keep the others for my personal records.

FYI:
#1 was initially rejected overprocessed, now re-edited
#2 has the sun directly from the front, so I'm worried about dark/contrast or even backlit
#3 was rejected in a different frame for overprocessed + heat distortion. This is a different frame with different editing.
2. dark, soft, noise, borderline centering (too low)
3. borderline heat haze/contrast

I did some rework on the picture and kindly ask for a pre-screening whether it would be acceptable now.
Thank you very much for all your efforts.
