Sharpness on the latter two seems to be improved, but all other issues remain.

Thanks for the guidance Dana: rather than push you for more and more detail I prefer to use your comments as 'signposts' and go back and examine my work more closely.

A spot remains at the bottom right practically vertically to the left reactor. Do you take your photos in RAW or JPEG?

RAW with PP in Lightroom. When you say ‘reactor’ do you mean ‘engine’?
