Hello, screener, I have modified the first picture of "kunming air" of this subject, could you please check whether it can be accepted? I adjusted the brightness, sharpness and clipping angles.

Hello, screener, I have modified the following two pictures with a better screen in our company. Can I get some general feedback on these 3 photos? Footnote: the first picture of China southern airlines was taken just after sunrise. I would like to ask the next question: for example, there is no pure white area in this kind of photos, can this be accepted?

Borderline soft/heat haze (especially tail area), but ok for me.

Thank you. I will close this topic, because the title does not meet the requirements, I will open a new topic in the future.

Dear screener. My problem is that the photos are too soft. I hope I can make progress through the guidance of this topic.and You can delete my other topic.

Question1: how is it judged that photos are too soft? How do we ordinary people find this problem in PS or LR?
Question 2: how to avoid this phenomenon in the process of shooting and editing?

P.S. this is my other photo, I mainly adjusted the sharpness and highlights, I will only send this one today. Because in the company's studio, it is not convenient to copy material home.

No, please continue to use this one. The exact title is not that important, but I've modified it for you if it makes you feel better

Seems to be suffering from heat haze, which is not something you can really fix with editing. Sharp images will generally require three things: good conditions (not too far, no heat haze), decent equipment used correctly, and decent editing. Missing any one (or all) of those steps could lead to a soft image.

Thank you for helping me with this post. I will pay attention to it in the future:
About the hot fog: does this refer to the gas spewing out of the engine or the subject edge deformation caused by the hot weather? If it's convenient, can you check here to see if these 3 photos are acceptable?(Ps:Both1280pixel) lol
There may be some deformation if it involves buildings on the ground, but aircraft flying in the air feel less affected by the thermal deformation. There is the soft problem before, is it better now? Click image for larger version

Almost always by the hot weather, or rather when there's a big difference between the air temperature and ground temperature.

All three are borderline acceptable - would be ok for me, but I can't promise everyone would agree.

Thank you. So taking a picture of an air posture is not going to be very distracting in that respect. The hard work. Let me revise it. Have a nice day.

Second version is improved, and would stand a decent chance at being accepted.

These would all very likely be rejected for soft.

Thanks for the feedback, I have adjusted these photos. I don't know if this is part of the 5 pictures per day limit (because it's actually the same 3 pictures).

Still a bit soft. Ones with the tower will also need a little CW rotation.
