If you need a different scanning program try VueScan from Hamrick software.
I use it with my Canon Scanners and it gives good results.

Thanx for everything guys
But...uh....well i did it and...see for your self.
Ya, I know. "Wow"
I probably did something wrong along the way, but I'm pretty sure i resized it right and everything. I also submitted one with a Frontier A318, the results were no better.
Mabey I need new scanning programs or something. It's starting to seem like I'm a lost cause unless i go out and buy a digital camera or something.
But hopefully someone can tell what I did wrong.
Thanks!

Try using Neat Image which you can download from the web. This is a great tool for removing grain but it’s a bit tricky to use at first. I bought it last week and this is one of first efforts with it using an HP5370 scanner. (It was rejected first time around for JPEG compression which, I think was a question of using the wrong settings in Neat Image).

Thanks for the advise LX-A343! I'll try it and hopefully it'll work.
The Scanners I use are a Canon Canoscan Lide 30 and an HP psc2110v All-in-one printer, scanner, and copier. They are both flatbed scanners.
Thanks everyone and hopefully i can get some more pics up!

What kind of scanner are you using?
Also what size did you upload at? The site will reduce your image to 1024 by xxx but quality is degraded. it's best to resize yourself.
Also what kind of zoom are you using. Because your house location looks awesome.

Hey. I am having a lot of trouble with the quality of pics.
The origional pic on flim looks greatthen when i scan it it still looks very good
but when i upload it, its horrible.
I don't know what goes wrong. Here's an example.
JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!
ignore the fact it's unleveled (i was a little lazy) and try to focus on the grain and blurryness, because the scanned pic is very clear.
thanks for the help!
