Don't think you're getting the point.. any edit could potentially change parts unrelated (rotating an image can also make it softer, etc.) so your edited version will be screened anew if you re-submit it. And I (we) am telling you it is too soft.

I only cropped the photo. You said about the photo being soft and this is the same photo now only cropped..

Cropping would most likely be accepted, but as mentioned, the photo is too soft.

You are not being very clear in that case. Was this image previously rejected for cropping? If so, why would you be posting the same image without re-editing? If not, why include the comments 'previously rejected only for cropping'?

Well, if you've done a new edit, obviously the sharpening could be different.
