Photo rejected because not centered ..... why? I don't understand, yet with the tool the plane is perfectly centered!

    Hi,

I am not a screener, but I can help you - you can check centering easily when your photo is in queue via "Centering" button. If you do so, you will see that top part of aircraft is in bigger distance from center than lower part (see red lines on attached file). They should be in balance, so the airplane should be a little higher in the frame.

Aircraft is indeed too low in the frame.

ok, but the center of the plane should not always be considered where the windows are? I have 550 photos in the database and have always centered on the windows.

        have the rules changed?

You've already appealed and been told the same I can see now, so I will remove myself from the discussion. In the future, if you'd like more assistance/feedback, please post here before appealing.

The window line is not always the center of the aircraft - I fell for that for a long time too - it is much better to use a grid when cropping and making sure that the distance from the top of the frame to the highest part of the aircraft is the same as the bottom of the frame to the lowest part of the aircraft - then you are centered in the frame.

            edited: aircraft - take fuselage.
