  • JPEG and JPG

Hello all, hope everyone's staying safe and healthy.

I have edited my RAW photos, which then was saved into JPEG format. However, as JP requires JPG format, I am not sure how to change that. It would be fully appreciated if someone could help me out as it is still not valid until now. Thank you so much and have a good day wherever you are!

    Best regards
    ZX

Hello. You can save it to jpg in raw converter, or in PS if you continue to edit the image in this program.

Sorry, that doesn't really make any sense, and doesn't answer his question..

Jpeg and jpg are the same thing. Just remove the 'e' in the file name and upload it.

I don't understand..if the files are already named as .jpg what is the issue with uploading?

It’s still recognised by iOS as JPEG, which when I try to upload it, system shows that upload fail as format is not in JPG.

I see the issue as being a MAC problem because on Windows I have the option to format files by renaming them enabled and I have done just what you are talking about in the past a lot, going from JPEG to JPG, or several other possibilities such as PNG or GIF for example from or to JPEG and it always recognizes the changes right away. So this is something you may have to direct to an Apple support type forum.

It's not a Mac issue. I use a Mac, and have no problem doing what I describe above.

Jpg and Jpeg are exactly the same file format. PNG and GIF are not, so the comparison is not apt. No Apple support is needed, the OP just needs to either explain his problem better, or follow the suggestion better, since there should not be any issue. I've tested it, took a image labeled .jpeg, tried to upload, couldn't, renamed it .jpg, and was able to upload it 5 seconds later.

g1mmy693: post the image in question here, and let's see if we can actually upload it.
