    I'm not a screener but I would think this would be a contrast rejection - no direct sunlight on the aircraft and probably not fixable.

    It can have plenty of causes one can be shooting to jpeg, which you have stated, that you don't do.
    Other is editing, please tell us what you have done with the shot, what is your workflow, what all sliders you have used, etc.
