  • Stefan Mayer - rejection help

    Hello everybody,

I'm a little confused. I got this rejection for dark/underexposed
JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

The first attached picture shows the histogram of the rejected photo in my Gimp.
The second attached picture shows the histogram of an accepted photo of mine (https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9803586).

Now I wonder what is the reason for dark/underexposed.

    Thank You for Your help.

    Stefan

Yeah, histogram looks fine. My guess is the 'dark' refers to the relatively harsh contrast. Feel free to appeal it, and if that is rejected, I will fight for it with the other crew

just remember, the histogram is just a guide and having the perfect histogram is very rare

          Hello,

is it worth to apply this rejection? I think the rejection is caused in the cut of the stabilizer but I see a lot of pictures that are cropped in this way.

            Hello,

borderline case imo as of the angle.
Its just a little part what is cutted off of the wing and stab so why not include it. But the bigger problem I see here is the soft nose section.
            Best Regards from Germany,
            Julian S.

The real problem is the heat haze you're trying to hide/compensate for with the oversharpening. Don't think that's fixable.
