I tried it with 2 other pictures also, unfortunately no improvement.

Changed the format to SRGB IEC6 1966-2.1 - 16 bit. Saved as jpg, without other manipulation, but the problem persists.

in photoshop go to edit---preferences---- camera raw -----workflow what is the color space ??

To have the info displayed, I needed to open the file directly from the sd card.

look at the bottom where it reads sRGB ................... I highlighted it in grey.

Please check the way you import Raw files. Look at the bottom of the raw import screen what does it read ?

I would like to receive some advice to prevent/reduce jpg artifacts. After more than 4k photo's uploaded and an acceptance ratio > 97% over the last year it seems that my workflow (which didn't change) is not the right one and I have no clue how to improve. The past week 10 of my photo's were rejected and big part of them bcs of jpg artefacts. I tried several things like remove JPEG Artifact via reduce noice filter in PS, change the quality of the export in jpg etc, noise reduction, less sharpening... Nothing helps.

When I open my raw photos (CR3 & CR2) via Lightroom or Photoshop and I save them without any manipulation in jpg (different quality's, two examples with 250 and 500 pixels per inch) the artefacts are clearly present.

So pls advice how to improve

OK thanks for the info, the picture below is with a similar angle, but in my opinion with a much better quality, even at 1920 px? Any chance to get it accepted like this?

This would be rejected for contrast, soft, and overprocessed.

It is possible to get shots from this angle accepted, but these specific ones would not be due to softness and the poor light.
