Anyway, I have now taken a second look at N142TW and cleaned it and re-edited it. The PA28 has also been re-edited due to ballsing up the original crop.

Re-centered and cropped N142TW. By ratio, I'm unsure what I did to mess that one up!

G-CEZI has also been recropped, adjusted and resharpened.

And for good measure, a new shot.

Also, could you expand slightly for me on the ratio issue if it pops up again? They should be exported as a long side of 1280 from my editor which auto adjusts the short side to keep the aspect.

There is (was) a black bar at the bottom of the frame on both images.

          1. Thank you, will upload it and hope for a good result.
          2. I think this one might be scrapped as it may be blurry rather than soft. I'll take a look into it another time when I'm on the PC.
          3. Is it a yellow cast on the image per chance? In regards to the centering, too low in the frame?

Again, thank you for taking the time to look at these images for me. It's appreciated

Bad color due to the strong purple fringing/chromatic aberration, and yes too low.

Invested in LRC so thought I'd give this another attempt whilst following along to a tutorial (similar values so I may of undersharpened) Click image for larger version

A bit soft, and fringing/aberration somewhat less noticeable, but still there.

Hmm. I'm using the remove Remove CA function so I think it may need some manual input to correct. Back to tutorials I go!

Hows this for the CA? Also added sharpening.

Re-sharpened and new export settings in LRC. Improvement or still too soft? Also added another PA38 (different registration) Click image for larger version

                              1. Is there still some purple fringing or due to the reflection on the glass?
                              2. Thank you. That'll join the que tonight then.
                              3. Concerned with this one. Obviously a scrapper if it's blurred. I'll sharpen it further tonight but this was taken during the takeoff roll so blur isn't obvious to me. Any further pointers in this one would be great but if its a scrapper, I'll scrap it. Not great at discerning blur or softness on some images.
                              4. A black bar hiding somewhere or just incorrect sizing? I'll re-export it later after investigating.

Thank you for your help again bud

                                1. Fringing is due to your lens (quality).
                                3. Couldn't tell you without seeing the original
