Can I get some feedback on this image? Especially on the sharpness and colour.
Would be rejected for horizon, heat haze, and contrast. Not fixable.

    This is fine.

      This is fine.
      Thanks mate.

      • Hi there guys,

Can I get some thoughts on this image please? Not ideal conditions (ground haze) and at the longer end of my Sigma lens so softness is a concern. Click image for larger version

          Dark, oversharpened, overprocessed, noisy.

Worth attempting to fix or is the image FUBAR on this one by your opinion?

Without seeing the original, couldn't say - but it's not so terrible I would automatically say impossible.

              • Hey there,

Cardiff hosted a fly-in this morning. Whilst the weather over the airfield was good, the lighting was a weird angle. Not quite backlit but not dead on the side. Could I get some feedback on these for that as well as oversharpening please? And any obvious errors too please! Also, a slight side question. I've submitted a new aircraft type so would I be correct in assuming that I need to wait for that to be checked before uploading the image of that aircraft to the que?

                  1. soft
                  2. borderline soft
                  3-4. borderline oversharpened

Please upload with the correct information, otherwise the image stands to be rejected.

Thanks matey. I'll make the adjustments before queing them.

                    • Good Evening

Can I get some feedback on these two please? Really struggling with the black paintwork on the L29. Looks fine in the editor but quality dies off when exported and viewed in my native photo viewer (though the post preview seems to show it as it looks in LR)

                          1. Halo around the tail? I've tried to resolve it in this but I didn't touch the usual suspects that introduce this normally though I think I've solved it when fixing the darkness.
                          2. Thank you

Halos around the whole aircraft it looks like.

                            • Gooood Evening

Can I please get some feedback on the following for the below concerns:

Grob: Contrast & Dark specifically but looking at the preview, maybe a touch too soft?
                              Red PA28 : Soft, Colour
Beagle Pup: Soft & Horizon (shot with a large factory hangar in the background and very tight image. Struggled to check this in my editor)
                              Black PA28: Dark
                              Yak: Soft

                              Many thanks in advance
