    I was looking through some older compact camera pics and thought I'd try (with the help of powerful noise reduction and sharpening programs) to see if I could make them acceptable

    Can I get a pre-screen on these?

    A fair amount of noise is visible in all images. 4 might be the easiest to fix, though 1-2 might also have a chance with some cleaning up.

    2. soft, noisy
    3. borderline noisy
    4-5. dark/contrast, noisy. Not fixable.
