5. dark/contrast. not fixable.

I have chosen 3 pictures for re-editing (I have increased sharpening and decreased contrast but hopefully not too much or too little ), are these versions better now or are there still any issues?

Poor light on all of these. #3 has cropping issues as well, but might be fixable with a better edit/different frame.

Which version is better?
On what should I improve in order to make it acceptable?

It's an important picture for me so I'll try to fix this though I'm not the best at editing.

Most likely not.

This one is a bit worse. The only way you'll get it to work is if you have a frame where there is no bright spot in the sky. The image overall needs brightening, which simply can't be done if part of the sky is already blown out.

Thanks a lot for the advice, I think I can see what you mean...
It is unfortunately nearly impossible to crop the image so that the bright spot is away and having a ratio of 16:9
In spite of that, I have tried it with a similar picture:

I have reduced the spot with a different frame, but I do not entirely know if it's significantly better...

I also had another idea: Why not using the RAW- picture and trying to edit it?
I have not worked with RAW-Pictures so far as I thought it would be very difficult. However, after having watched some videos, this is my final result:
I am not sure if it's better but in my opinion the image is brighter and the spot is less visible.


Maybe it is better to work with this one...

What do you think about this "new" versions?
Which improvements can be still done?

Both still poor contrast, though you would have a better chance with the second one. If it were me, I wouldn't bother, but the worst that will happen if you try and submit that one is a rejection, so..
