It seems that I have to create a new thread because the last has been deleted.
Anyway, thank you for solving my problem!

I have got 5 new photos that I would like to have prescreened


Please comment on each picture separately and tell me which image would be the easiest to fix.

Apologies again, not sure exactly what happened, but there seems to have been a glitch in the forum when I was cleaning up some posts.

Images are a bit dark (especially 4 & 5) and dust spots will need removing, but otherwise they would be ok for me.

Where can you find these dust spots?
Is there any photo (of these 5) who does not principally need removing them (I am a bit unsure how to remove dust spots in my editing software)?

Anyway, could you please tell me where I can find these dust spots in the photos above and how I can remove them?

In Gimp, copy the image to a new layer.
In the filters menu, select "Equalize" (or, in German, "automatisch Abgleichen"), then dust spots will be very very obvious.
Use the healing tool (on the original layer!) to remove them, you'll have to experiment a bit with settings.
Copy and equalize again to see if you caught all spots, and if there are healing artifacts.

As pkautzsch wrote in the post before, with the equalizing tool you can make the spots clearly visible.
In PS the equalized picture looks as followed in the attachment.

The dust spot is left of the right winglet, so the only thing you should do is to clone it out - after that it should not longer be visible.
On YouTube you can find some good tutorials.

Hey,

Yeah, the dust spot is now gone, some other (slightly visible) ones are still there, but for me those should not a big issue as i can´t see them unequalized.

1, 2, 4 - borderline dark/contrast, but would be ok for me
3 - backlit, not fixable.

I'm not a member of crew (Just having a peruse as I await my own PS) but image 2 has a bit of editing halo going on along the vert stab and starboard wing. Image 4 has a bit on the starboard flap. Whether it's enough to get a rejection is a different matter.

I have got some new photos on which I would like to have advice.
No.1: I personally like this picture but I do not know if it would be rejected for backlit or cut off. If there are any other issues, please tell me too...
No.2 & 3: Please tell me if there are any issues, style is like the previous pictures
No.4 & 5: Mainly exposure / sharpening but as with all the other pictures, if there is anything different, I'd be happy if you informed me about that.

Thanks, I have re-edited the photos (apart from the A350, thinking it was "borderline")
I have replaced the last EW picture with a new one and added another image for prescreening.
What do you think now?
