I see... So like I have picked the wrong time or spot for spotting? In this case I use quite a long focal length (~400mm and possibly not the best aperture settings) and not really a good timing for the minimal heat haze.

Correct. Distance, time of day, and atmospheric conditions need to be considered to ensure the best results.

And I try to sharpen the fuselage a bit more, change to 1200px and reduce the noise to see whether there is any improvement.

Noise is less noticeable at this resolution, but this would be rejected for soft/heat haze and dirty.

I 'm not sure whether these problem are fixable but I tried fixing using re-cropping tuning some contrast and selective sharpening. Please take a look which one is better and have fixed the problems. Thanks

Hi there, after a long while, I have found some old photos that I would like to ask for advice.
