This picture was rejected and stated as Bad Composition and I have centered it and add a bit more contrast, Is it better now?
    The rejected photo URL:https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=8724815#

I understand my photos looks like trash and I am sincerely sorry about that. Any constructive feedback are welcomed

Hi and first, Merry Christmas !!

    1) both planes appear blurry and lack contrast, not JP material
    2) white plane and white sky, most probably a rejection rejection
    3) nose seems a bit soft
    4) Looks acceptable, borderline contrast but otherwise ok
    5) too much space in front of plane, poor contrast (please note we don't do pre-screening for pics which are already in the queue so I only commented the pic above)

    Kind Regards
    Alex

Ok, thank you very much. I think I will reduce some contrast in pic 4 and sharpen the nose a bit in pic 3, thanks and Merry Christmas to you too!

          1. strong vignetting on right side
          2. overprocessed (editing halo around whole aircraft)
          3. poor contrast. probably not fixable.

Ok I see the problem now. Can you help me to see whether the problem has been fixed? Thanks

Ok I see, I have some questions though.
1.Is 3 still fixable? I'm not sure that vignetting is caused by the lenses profile or the lenses itself.
2.Is dirty a lenses/camera problem or is because of overediting? If so, How could I tackle this issue?
3.Does reducing sharpness of the photo helps to solve that overprocessed issue?

I still have lots of things to learn about photo taking and editing and thanks for your advice in advance.

Probably not 'fixable' given how severe it is, but the question should be how noticeable it is. The more noticeable, the more likely it will be rejected. As it is now, I'd say probably noticeable enough.

                  No, dust on your sensor.

Unlikely. You have some editing halos, which usually result from boosting shadow/highlights/clarity/vibrance/etc. or some such setting.

I have read through some tutorials and I have slightly edited the photo below, is it acceptable and should I slightly sharpen it more and add a bit more dark tone (using levels) to it? Click image for larger version

Image is noisy and affected by heat haze. The quality is not there to be uploaded at 1920pix.

                        Hi there,
I would like to ask some suggestions for these 3 photos before uploading to the site.
I haven't spotted planes for a long time so I don't know whether my skills improved or got worse.
Thank you guys for your suggestions .

                          1. Soft/blurry, noisy.
                          2. Not uploadable.
                          3. Soft/blurry, noisy.

Not so much a problem with a lack of skill than lack of ability to realize that the conditions were not going to be conducive to getting good/sharp images. You will also not be able to hide the poor quality at such large resolutions, so you might want to try ~1200 pix in the future.

I see... So like I have picked the wrong time or spot for spotting? In this case I use quite a long focal length (~400mm and possibly not the best aperture settings) and not really a good timing for the minimal heat haze.
And I try to sharpen the fuselage a bit more, change to 1200px and reduce the noise to see whether there is any improvement.
Anyways thanks for the advice, Cheers!
