sharksfan166269 - prescreening/Editing Advice

Again, would appreciate a prescreen on these two. Personally I think the last is too dark, however I can't really push the whites up without blowing out the sky so I may just have to bin it although I may be wrong about that, so looking for advice

It was a fairly heavy crop, however I went back to this raw file and exported it without the crop, and there still seems to be some editing halos present. (1st attachment)
I decided to clear out my Lightroom catalog and reset all the preferences and import just that raw file and see if it was present even without anything, it still seems that there are some editing halos. (2nd attachment).
I've gone through and doubled checked that all sliders are at zero and are off, as well as making sure all check boxes are off, the 2nd attatchment should essentially just be a .jpg straight from the raw file with no edits. I've not noticed this on all images, but there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason why some pictures have halos, and some do not.
Edit : I realized now that the images I attached below were sized badly, I do apologize for that, but the halos should still be visible, especially around the tail.

I've attached a .jpg where I noticed this that I took right from a raw file from Lightroom and have not edited much, only a crop, contrast, and white/black and I believe it has a few halos, specifically around the tail (I checked with the check for dust tool) and I wanted to ask if there was anything I could do to prevent this? I do understand this specific image is very soft/blurry, noisy, and has an incredible amount of chromatic aberration, however I don't really see a reason why I should have halos. For context I'm using a Canon, so I don't have the Nikon D-Lighting setting I've heard causes halos and apart from the light edit I mentioned, no other changes have been made. In all likeliness I'm probably missing something and would greatly appreciate any help here

I've also re-edited another picture of N931WN, would appreciate a pre-screen on this. I've made sure to not touch highlights shadows, vibrance, or clarity, as well as checking the image with the "check for dust" tool, hopefully no overproccesing editing halos

Thank you for your feedback. I just wanted to clarify - if I was to select a certain area, like I (sloppily) selected just the sky here, and applied a filter, like sharpening, or de-noise as I did in #3, would that count as sky replacement or manipulation? I ask since I have seen tutorials/advice online where some have selected just the plane and sharpened, and I've mistakenly gone ahead and assumed de-noise would be okay. Apologies if it's not.

This could be considered 'sky replacement' by some and get you a warning/ban if repeated. Be very careful with this type of editing.
Overprocessed.

Thank you for your feedback. I've gone back and re-edited, this time without touching highlights or shadows as well as making sure I exported in the highest quality, hopefully I've managed to avoid editing halos here.
I also wanted to ask, if I was to quickly upload an image and check the image with the "check for dust" tool, would that be a good way to also check for editing halos?
