    Better, but still borderline imho.

dlowwa do you think this would be acceptable for upload?

Image is backlit and has poor contrast, so no chance.

I shot this at 1/125, f/8, ISO 100. Is it just the way the sun is coming onto the aircraft? Or is it more my camera settings you think?

Can I ask for a screen on the following?

          1. Asiana A350 - I know this was posted before for a pre-screen and it was back when I was fighting the compression issues. Just curious if it's better now?
          2. Atlas B767F
          3. United B757
          4. United B737
          5. KLM A333 - Trying a different shot that has more of a clear sky in the background. Thoughts?

Sorry if the mass-pre-screen request is overkill. Very eager to try and hone in my shots for my next outing this weekend.

Being backlit has nothing to do with camera settings. Might want to do a bit of basic research

Yes, but please read here (#3) and in the future keep your requests to a maximum 5 per 24-hour period.

            https://forums.jetphotos.com/forum/a...ning-from-crew

            1. soft, heat haze, overprocessed, compression, dirty
            2. borderline soft
            3. soft/blurry, heat haze, noise
4-5. soft, dark, overprocessed, compression, dirty

            Likely only 2. is salvageable.

Sorry for the mass request. Will keep it reasonable going forward.

My question on camera settings was about the contrast. I do struggle with the backlit rejection on this MAX shot because the sun is probably at 1-2 o'clock from the cockpit. At the same time, I can see how that sun position would also create a backlit condition.

The contrast rejection is the one I'm curious about. Is it tied to one of my camera settings and how much light I've let through the glass or is it moreso tied to the conditions of the day/environment?

                The latter.

Do you think either of these would be acceptable? I fear the A320 may be a little on the soft side?

                    1. soft, contrast
                    2. dark, contrast

                        Dirty, horizon.

                            1. borderline horizon (CW)
                            2. borderline soft

Can I get a pre-screen on this, please? Wondering if the ramp stairs with the blue awning will be a problem since it blocks some of the aircraft.

Blocks a bit more than 'some' of the aircraft, so would be an immediate obstruction rejection.
