I could be wrong, but if you look at the histogram you have a lot of whites and no blacks.

Not really good at histogram, but gonna find it out. Thank you

I got this rejection, Aviation photos - 5 million+ on JetPhotos the contrast should be fine, I've tried to re-edit to add more brightness or contrast but it looked not natural. What do you think?

Don't see much of a difference. Some heat haze on the first as well.

These would all be rejected for contrast. The light was very poor, there is nothing that can be done with editing. The smoke from the mlg is irrelevant.
