I would need some clarification on this rejection. I can agree with the too low contrast, I actually worked on the photo again with a better result. In all honesty I do not understand and I do not agree with the other reason, the backlight. The sun is clearly behind me in the shot or in the area behind the lens anyway. Otherwise the tail would not be illuminated and the same would cast a shadow on the fuselage, which is not the case. Furthermore, the reflection of the sun on the front base of the tail clearly indicates its position. It is obvious that the underside of the plane is in shadow, the reverse would not be possible, but the sun is clearly behind the photographer.

Not technically backlit; this rejection reason was probably selected due to the fact that the majority of the aircraft visible from this angle is in shadow (also a cause of the contrast rejection).

Then I have two questions to ask for these 2 photos respectively:
1) Can I consider it as a special livery?
2) Can I upload this photo, purposely taken against the light at sunset to portray the silhouette of the plane? I read on the guide for uploading photos that this is possible, I also found photos on the database that are comparable in terms of conditions (for example this one https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10180350). But for confirmation I prefer to ask in advance.
Ok thanks, actually I realized that I made a postproduction mistake in the second photo ... So you shouldn't see any halos anymore, and I also corrected the contrast. Can shooting in these backlit conditions be acceptable?

Silhouette images are acceptable, but typically they need more bright sky to balance out the darkened aircraft. As such the image doesn't really work.
