Is the bottom part of the landing gear not visible here an issue?
And what about the contrast/light on these?
Borderline for all three. Generally the more of the gear is obstructed by the runway, the more of an issue it is. Here, somewhat obstructed, so somewhat of an issue.

Thanks! How should I try to re-edit them? More or less contrast?

Poor contrast due to overcast conditions. Not really editable as such.

Is this photo worth appealing? In my opinion the aircraft is lit well enough and the photo is almost the same as this one which didn't have any light/contrast issues.

Not really dark, more like a contrast problem imho. An appeal would likely just change the rejection from dark to contrast.

            • This is my first attempt at a night shot. I have no idea if this is close to acceptable or not, what do you think?

Hi, Not a screener but it looks kind of noisy and blurry to me. It might be too dark at the tail when the nose is so bright. I not an expert on that though

                Good luck

                  Oversharpened/noisy. Probably not fixable.

                  • Would this image be rejected for similar (same reg and airport)? Does the new special livery matter? Thanks!

Not similar, but it would be a good idea to point out the difference when uploading.

                      • I need an opinion on the light and contrast of these photos. Is there enough direct light and where exactly is the borderline between backlit and acceptable? Thanks!

Not backlit. Contrast shouldn't be an issue.
