no clue why the picture is overprocessed, i put all the settings back to default and it still has that weird banding in the sky/black area around the plane. im assuming it might be something to do with my Canon camera settings?

Circular banding in the sky. If I had to guess, due to vignetting removal/correction.

haven't touched anything with vignetting except just turning on camera lens profile in lightroom

yeah i found out a fix (somewhat) - disabling lens profile makes the banding disappear but then vignetting appears on the picture and thats due to the big lens hood used on camera. i guess that can be somewhat avoided by using f/8.0 or higher, since that qatar picture is f/7.1

Vignetting correction seems to have been the problem. The banding is gone, but there is now some vignetting visible.

Both might need a touch of CW rotation, but would otherwise be ok for me. Night Shot can be used.
