    It might be that your settings arent all on 100% or best. If you use lightroom only use the highest image quality possible everywhere.

      If you use multiple apps to edit your pictures like Lightroom and Photoshop, make sure not to export as JPG and open that again in another app. Always use non-compressed image types like TIF to export your pics.

      Only save as JPG in the best possible quality when you are all done.

        There's a fair bit of compression there, yes. Most likely related to save settings, as mentioned. You'll need to check where exactly in your workflow you're going wrong and saving with higher compression.
