  • Pre Screening Advice -- Centering

    Hello,
From what I've read, I've learned that on JP, the whole aircraft (from top of the rudder to bottom of the landing gear) must be centered in the frame. I have a picture of a helicopter (below) whose rotor passes hangs pretty far past any other part of the aircraft (from the picture's perspective) on one side, but not the other. Should I center it with the idea that the end of the rotor is my leftmost reference, or with some other point for that?

Is it in the queue? If yes net.crew will not give any advice.
Crop closer, use the heli body as the center not the whole body with rotor, I see some heli photo with rotor to be cropped no problem

You can either crop close to the body thus cutting the rotor, or leave the whole rotor in; you should choose whichever of those two options gives the best overall (aesthetic) balance.
