The argument for the hot photo was that the propeller spinner on this aircraft was blue, but was recently painted black.

In my understanding, albeit the change is small it does consist of a livery change (being a color change on essentialy an entire component of the aircraft, i.e. the spinner), thus validating the hot photo argument.

I very much appreciate the help. Cheers!

Would this image suit the database?
No, poor contrast/light, and somewhat soft.

Oh, of course! I mixed up basic light theory in my head. Totally agree with the rejection reason now. Thanks for your time!

You can tell by the shadow that sun was on the other side of the airplane. So yes - backlit - not fixable...

While I do agree that the lighting is slightly ambiguous, I do not see where the aircraft is backlit (especially due to the picture being from a top-down perspective). Would this be worth an appeal?

I appreciate any help in advance!

    Cheers.

Working...
