Thanks. I guess then, other than 1, the rest are not fixable, right?

Backlit and heat hazed images are generally not fixable.

Can I get advice on this rejected photo. Thanks.
          • Bad Composition (bad framing / aircraft not centered) - It seems well centered vertically to me so I assume the issue is with horizontal positioning. How could I center it better without cutting the stabilizer off?
          • Dark / Underexposed - The photo was taken in the evening. Would it pass if labelled 'Night Shot'? Or would you suggest increasing exposure/brightness to improve it?
          • Categories wrong or missing - I think I didn't tick off 'Cargo', so this one if pretty clear what I need to do there..

            Not screener, for me:
Bad composition, there is more dead space on the left than on the right
            Underexposed - I agree

Thanks. Would this be better (acceptable)? I cropped it a bit more in the front and added brightness.

                Not screener,
To minimize the rejection reason again, it is too narrow on the right.

This would be rejected for soft, dark, and possibly color (chromatic aberrations visible).

Thanks. What's your opinion on this version, taken from a different angle in brighter conditions?

                      Heat hazed and slightly dark.

OK, looks like ET is out of luck... How about this set of 4? I tried to pick the brightest ones but it was a hot day so wondering what you think about heat haze, softness or any other issues for these. Thanks.

                          1. borderline soft/overprocessed
                          2. soft, overprocessed
                          3. ok for me
                          4. overprocessed/manipulation, borderline soft

Thanks! I tweaked #1 slightly to keep processing to bare minimum. Would the below version be acceptable?

Re: #4, can you clarify what you mean by manipulation? Are you referring to graduated filter I used to reduce exposure in the sky by -0.5?

Still somewhat soft, but otherwise acceptable for me.

Yes. Such filters are considered bad processing/manipulation and will result in not only a rejection, but possibly a reduction of upload slots/ban if you continue to upload images with them applied.
