Thanks. Can you tell me how do you arrive at the decision, i.e. what specific references are you looking at in this case to determine whether it’s properly level?

Verticals in the background/center should be considered first. Verticals towards edges are less reliable. Horizontal references, unless the actual horizon, are even less reliable.

      • Got another horizon rejection... https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=11095234

All the structural vertical references seem to be aligned to the grid. Can you help point me to which reference(s) specifically in this example as not level so I know how to correct. Thanks.

..nothing is aligned with the grid, least of all what I mentioned here:

That big building in the background looks nothing like level.

Thanks for the quick response, however, not sure it answers my question. I was looking for suggestion of a specific reference to use for alignment as clearly I am missing something here... E.g. I identified with arrows below some of the structural verticals in the background/center (building edges, panel seams, etc.) - all of these appear to me to be parallel to grid lines. Am I looking at it wrong?

This version is slightly rotated CW - is it better?

The grid is usually only useful for measuring large horizontals. There is not enough vertical line on the building in the background to accurately judge. Anything only a few pixels long is going to seem 'straight'. New version still needs a little CW.

Second image horizon ok for me.

Horizon would be fine for me.

Borderline crop on the second, but both ok for me.

                      • Thanks. Got a few more rejections - may I get advice how to fix these:

                        1. https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=11085886 Unclear what the issue with color is.
                        2. https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=11085797 Not sure contrast is really the issue here, is it? Would adding more contrast help?

                          1. yellow/green tint
                          2. contrast too strong

                            Are these better/acceptable?

ID:	1164242 And can I get an opinion on this one as well? It was previously rejected for being too dark. I've increased brightness a bit.

                              2-3. borderline dark/contrast

It doesn't look too bad to me, tbh. Does it need more contrast added?
