    Don't think it is fixable.

So, the lines on the edge are the basis whether it is sharp or not? I'll take a look into it, I am using a Fujifilm XS-1 nowadays, and probably on my editing I wouldn't crank up the sharpening too much. Anyway, thanks for the advice, I'm currently editing some of my shots and I'm kind of scared if all of it aren't that sharp enough for JP.

    Thank you and regards.
Wherever there are sharp transitions (lines, etc.) if the transitions are blurred, then it's soft. If the transitions instead look jagged (like the edge of a saw), then oversharpened.

The 'compression' means these all look like they were either heavily over-edited, or taken with a lower-end (small sensor) camera. If the former they may be fixable, if the latter then probably not.

Pardon for my previous post, I was confused where to post for screening since I created this thread last 2021. Anyways, I would like to prescreen these images I would like to submit in the database. My current issue is sharpness, so I was wondering if it's sharp enough or lacking. A kind response is much appreciated.

    Thank you for the response!
