  • Sven EDDN Prescreening / Editing Advice

    Hi,

I already uploaded this Picture two times.

2 Times it get rejected for beeing Unhorizon.

Now i asked the Screener for the Reason - Picture should be turn to the left.

I turned it to left and aligned the Horizon with the fence in the background.
To avoid a third Rejection i want to know if its gonna be okay now
JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

    Thanks for your Help

    Sven

Hi, i'm not a screener, remember when you ask for preescrening the photo must not be in the queue (#2 https://forums.jetphotos.com/forum/a...ning-from-crew).

About the horizon level, you have to take into account the perspective, you can use the runway as horizon reference if you are perpendicular to it, in other cases is better using far horizon or vertical references. I show you an example of it.

      Thanks for your help

On my other Uploads I tried to orientate myself on the Runway. it looks like that was wrong.
I have now taken the fence in the background, like two others who also uploaded photos from this landing.

i‘m still on a learning Process on JP.
      So lets try again

As noted, images already in the queue will not be prescreened.

Centering looks ok, but contrast might still be an issue.

I‘m a little bit confused with this another Rejection

I tried to fix the Contrast for a third Time now and it still should be wrong.

Can you tell me where the exact Problem is?

In my mind there is not much to fix left…

I tried to change some Things on the editing in Lightroom.
Contrast Settings now are set to zero.

Not sure that it is fixable. Looks like there was a cloud at least partially blocking the sun at the time you took the image?

                      Also not sure
But maybe you´re right. when i´m looking at the Windows its possible there was no Sun at this moment.

So i decided to give up this Picture..

At least i took some other Pictures which i´m was not sure to upload because of Centering and i had to crop the Windflag little bit.

Contrast looks pretty washed out, but should be fixable with a better edit.

Still a bit washed out, but would be ok for me.
