I have this rejection for "Dark / Underexposed" - https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=10123765

Which is correct, it's a silhouette against the sunset. Are silhouettes not allowed? If so, did I choose the wrong category? Which Category should be chosen for silhouettes?

Silhouettes are allowed, but the overall frame should not be too dark. Night Shot category is applicable.

Sure of course. Just trying to figure out exactly how bright the sunset portion should be relative to the silhouetted aircraft relatively. I will try to find some examples on the site maybe.

Given that this photo got in https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10596169 , I want to get thoughts on what I think is a similar photo of mine, in that the crop is creative but supports the flares in the photo, etc.

Yeah thats 16x9, I can play around with it to "square" it up a bit, but I think including both flares is best. Is there a category like creative or something that applies?
