    Before you ask, contrast issues related to diffuse/overcast light, so simply adding more contrast might not help.

    I see. Well I can bump the contrast a bit and do some more sharpening, but i really think the sharpness/detail thing is hampered by the 1280 pixel image restriction. Almost nothing looks sharp at that size. I can look through the DB and find hundreds of photos that look soft. Clearly a pretty subjective metric (unless there is some softness test you guys do).
