Not a screener, but I think it is because the tail is cut off.

Hello guys, I just got a photo rejected, the rejection is too much or too little contrast, but I really think this photo's contrast is okay. And I plan to appeal this photo, can I have any advices from you all before I appeal this photo? Because I don't want to waste senior screeners' valuable time.
Or if you think this photo is correctly rejected, could you give me any advice of the way of improving this photo.
