  • Please can you help fix this?

    Hi.
    This photo - http://www.jetphotos.net/viewreject.php?id=244138
    got rejected for
    - Bad (Over/Under) Contrast
    - Bad Cropping (Photo Edges)
    - Sensor Dust Spots
Please can you help out as I would love to see it on the db as I reckon it is a quality photo.
    Thanks.

G'day. The shot seems to have a lot of dirt on it and some discolouration. Is it scanned or from a digicam?

Generally try cropping closer to the aircraft and if possible avoid backlighting. Removing dirt spots is possible in most photo editting programs.

    Cheers!

      Thanks alot Mate.
How can you do it in photoshop 7?
I can use this program on the computers in school and would love to be able to edit spots out as I have quite a few photos from yesterday with them.
I assume these are flies because it was quite hot and dry and you could see loads of them all over the place.
      Cheers again.

        * remove the big dust spot above the a/c (with clone tool for example)
        * crop it different, so that the aircaft fills the frame
        * add more contrast
        greetings,
        Philip

I reckon that the spots are flies - it was a big problem yesterday in the heat (yes it was sunny at MAN). They ruined a few shots of mine too.

I get the same flies here in winter. Whatever I take a picture of, the flies are in the same spot in the image. They are propably sitting on the lens.
