I would also like to ask if you could explain how you do pre-screening. I want to improve my editing skills by "pre-screening" other pictures to better understand what is acceptable and what isn’t. (I don’t intend to post anything to avoid giving incorrect advice; I’m doing this purely for my own learning.)
Do you use any websites or tools for pre-screening? What is your workflow—what steps do you follow, from start to finish? Do you download the pictures and use specific programs? Where and how do you check things like the histogram or equalize settings (e.g., post-processing, dust spots)?
I also want to thank you for your effort and help over the past two years. You’ve been a tremendous help to me, and I really appreciate it.
Your images all have a slight green/cyan tint, and weak contrast (accepted image as well).

'Pre-screening' means I offer advice/my opinion on your images before you upload them to the queue. I've screened ~750,000 images in my time here, so I have a good idea of what might be acceptable or not. There is no special software involved in that, just my eyes.

Equalization/histogram might be used on occasion to confirm something, but 95% of the time a quick look is all I need.

    Indeed, both are too dark.

Still borderline. Is the original actually sharp? Seems a bit blurry towards the nose.

Not really. Much noisier now as well. Don't think the quality is there for 1920pix.

Is this better? I can't understand how you determine the sharpness of a jpg.
