  • AMGEnthusiast63 - prescreening request / editing advice

Hi, may I get some advice on how to improve the photo?
I wanted to include the control tower in this photo, but i'm not sure whether this would count as improper centering
    Thanks

Also, I'd like to ask for editing advice on these photos
    Many thanks!
(BTW my current upload resolution size is 1280pxls wide, so these photos have already been adjusted to suit that limit)

Not a screener, but to me this image looks dark, regardless of the cropping and posititoning

As well as the poles causing an obstruction.

Centering not ok, but really a moot point due to the obstruction.

          1. obstruction, horizon, centering
          2. oversharpened/compression, dark

Hello, I'm curious which part of the Shenzhen is obstructed, and is the aircraft centered too high or too low?
            Thanks again!

The barbed wire is obstructing the landing gear. Aircraft is too low in frame, but this doesn't really change anything as the image can't be accepted anyway due to the obstruction.

Thanks! I'll keep it for my own collection

Would this photo make the cut?
                  Thanks!

I edited the second photo, would this work?

(Due to my resolution limit i'm not quite sure how to solve the compression problem... advice would be much appreciated)

No, it is compressed, overprocessed, and backlit.

                      No, dark and heavily compressed.

Hi, do these two have any issues?
                        Thanks
By the way I'd like to know why the china southern had backlit issues, since i took the photo when the sun was behind me

Hello. Backlit occurs when a certain percentage or amount of the plane is in the shadow. In your case, the belly, wings and some areas of the side of the plane are in the shadow so I think that's the reason why it's backlit

Usually, an image is considered backlit when the tail is in its own shadow, which in the CSN's case it was.
