  • Last time it was rejected for contrast, so I retouched it.
This time it was rejected for being Undersharpened (Soft).
    What's so soft about it?
By the way, this is the image that was accepted around the same time.

      Not soft for me.

        • P.S.
I immediately made an appeal, and it was accepted about 35 hours later.
          Thank you very much.

          • It was rejected for being of bad quality.

It's not Soft, so what exactly is it that is of bad quality?
I intended to express the world of the Japanese concepts of "Wabi" and "Sabi."

Shouldn't have been rejected for quality. It was a relatively inexperienced screener, so I will let him know he was mistaken. The crop is too wide, and it likely would have been a contrast rejection, but the quality is fine.

              • Thank you for your reply.
I was shocked at the reason for the bad quality.
I intentionally placed the aircraft far away to fully show the change in color of the waves.
                I'd like to appeal anyway.

                  KIX TWR
Personally, I'm worried about the horizon.
                  Vertical lines are not parallel!

I'd probably give it a little CW rotation.

So, I understand that the control tower on the right should be placed completely vertically, and the building on the left should be ignored.
                      Is that correct?
                      This is the corrected version.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd pick the first version.

I think I should also reconsider the lens distortion.
                          Thank you for your judgement.

It is difficult to balance the barrel distortion that you will see towards the edges on wide-angle shots, yes. Best is to try and get horizon level, or if if that is not completely visible the verticals in the center of the frame. Anything towards the edges should be considered last.

                              I really appreciate your advice.
The fact that the TWR isn't a straight-on(in front of) shot makes it even more difficult to adjust!
I'll give it a try and upload it.

Is the chock string causing an obstruction?
