Is the chock string causing an obstruction?
    Shouldn't be an issue.

          Yes, unfortunately.

Technically yes, but not sure it would be rejected for that.

The shot below was taken from inside a bus at the Rump at Paris Orly (LFPO) on September 2, 1973.
                  Kodachrome scan.

There is some backlit and a fence obstructing the view, but is this acceptable?

Quality should be ok for the age/rarity (just needs color correction), but the fencing/obstruction is a big issue. I'm not sure how it would do in screening

                      Thank you for your advice.
I thought about it a lot, but decided not to upload it.
There are other shots where a fence is an obstacle.
For example, the observation deck at Schiphol Airport...

Now, how about this next shot? (Taken in 1973)
There's a shot from the same side in the database!

That would likely be a cut off/motive rejection for the awkward/close crop.

                          • If there was only one plane in the foreground it might be an acceptance shot,
but is this composition not permitted?

I don't think it's that different from a formation photo...

I think the composition works, so maybe an appeal might be worth it.
