What did the screener use as a reference to determine horizontality?

Normally, I level the camera when the aircraft is slow and stationary.

Taxiway marker top left. It's leaning right (CCW needed).

As expected, the composition (framing) was unreasonable.

I cropped a shot that had previously been rejected and for which I had received feedback on the forum, then uploaded it, but it was rejected again.

I don't really see noise as an issue. Backlit obviously, but the contrast is more subjective. I think I said it was likely to be an issue, and so it seems I was right. Just not strong enough to really work as a silhouette shot.

If there was only one plane in the foreground it might be an acceptance shot,
but is this composition not permitted?

I don't think it's that different from a formation photo...

I think the composition works, so maybe an appeal might be worth it.
