  • Taylor P -- Pre-screening request

    Hello there!
I went to a local airfield and spotted a couple of hot planes,
Just wondering if these would pass screening or if I'm wasting my time as I've almost exclusive rejections on most of my pics.
F-BOSI has a new paint scheme since last uploaded, and F-HDTT doesn't exist on the database.

Hello, not a screenerer, but 1 seems to be heat hazed and 2 appears to be soft/blurry, noisy and borderline overprocessed.

      Thanks for the feedback!
I've got more shots of the second on the ground which should be a little sharper due to less cropping and a shorter focal length, I'll give those a go!

Sorry for bothering, but do you think that's better?

            Hi!
Would love if someone would please tell me if these pics are okay, the histograms are there but some look like they're really high contrast.

You are correct, contrast is harsh, especially on first four. Last one might be acceptable as-is.

                    Hi again!
Are these OK? I've got a new camera so I'm not too sure how to edit them for now, I've tried to use USM in photoshop to try to get them sharper as most of my newer pics have been described as blurred.
                    Thanks!

                        Hi all,
Just wondering if something like the following image is allowed. Would it count as being an image of the front plane recropped to include the background 737 as I'm guessing the other way around the JS41 would count as an obstruction.
                        Thanks!

Would this be OK? Not sure how grass counts in terms of obstruction.

As the 737 is also obstructed by the luggage cart, there's no real good reasons to include it completely.

But on a similar case, without obstruction, yes it's totally ok to include the whole big plane in the frame like here :
